Summer Plans

I'm starting to prepare for the summer season. I have a few things I hope to accomplish this summer but mostly I want to enjoy it. It seems the past few years I have been super busy and before I know it the summer ends. Here's my summer plans.

1.) I have a three trips planned out this season.
2.) I'm going to read two books I've purchased but haven't cracked open yet.
3.) I'm planning on taking advantage of the new frozen yogurt shop.
4.) I'm going to hit a few garage sales.
5.) I'm going to get together with old friends for dinner.
6.) I'm going to take advantage of the Farmer's Market.
7.) I want to visit a few local museums.
8.) Go hiking in nearby National Parks.
9.) Go to the beach.
10.) Clean and organize our garage.

How would you like to spend your summer?

  1. I'm going to spend the summer playing the guitar and also doing perhaps a good half of the things you have on your list. But don't you think it would be a better idea to put no. 10 on your hubby's list?

  2. Your summer plans sound great! My plans look a lot like yours. Garage sales, camping, swimming, reading, and even cleaning the garage. :)
Thanks for commenting on my blog. Your blog is adorable and I've added it to my reader. Have a great day!

  4. Sounds like a great and busy summer for you guys! Most of our summer will be focused on the kids. A's birthday is in 3 weeks so I am planning a Spongebob party for her. I also signed the kids up for gymnastics so they start that next Monday. Then, the library here has a summer preschool program every Friday so we will be going to that as well. In mid-July, we all will be taking a trip to Mississippi and Florida to see family. It's going to be a much, much, much needed vacation ;) Wish I can say that we'll be doing a lot more...lol..but this is about all we can do for now.

  6. We could be twins! I love your list!
I also want to be together with family and friends, barbecue, hope for nice weather here in Denmark (so far we've only had rain and wind and cold degrees), I hope to use my nice bathing suits and bikinis (although my figure is far from Barbie's), and spend a lot of time outside.
