I just returned from a quick trip to Dallas. My husband had a speaking engagement at a conference and I decided to tag along. We decided to stay through the weekend and make it a small get away. I had so much fun. Dallas has so many adorable and fun boutiques. I found all sorts of cool stuff. And my hubby was happy when he spotted a Razoo's. The trees were beautiful and quite different from those down in Houston. It definitely put me in the holiday mood. This week I'm starting to organize for the holidays. I'm planning on whipping up some of my Christmas cookie's to freeze for decorating in December. What are y'all doing to prep for the holidays?

What a great post! I love the pic and your music is fantastic! I can't really do too much to get ready this year. I'm back living with my parents for a while after a divorce, so I'm in transition. I miss my tree! Have a great night honey! Kori xoxo
ReplyDeleteI'm glad y'all had a fun weekend in Dallas. Did you know there is a Razoo's on 59 South in the Fountains Shopping Center in Sugar Land? This is so funny, I flew home tonight from Nashville and made a "to do" list on the plane. I wrote, "bake sugar cookies and freeze until Dec. for decorating."
ReplyDeleteSo glad you guys had a great time! I haven't done anything yet to prep for Christmas. I need to get through Thanksgiving first...lol.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a fun weekend! I baked 23.5 dozen cookies yesterday and froze them all for Christmas. By last night I was so tired I could hardly think straight!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jill! We use to eat at Razoo's back in Austin a lot. The blacken chicken pasta dish is my fav. They moved over to Round Rock shortly after we moved into our house. That was dangerous, LOL! If you are ever heading north I-35 you might want to try Louisiana Longhorn Cafe in old town Round Rock. The owners are from down in St.Martin Parish.
