Tomorrow is my hubby's and my Anniversary. We'll be married 7 years. Wow, in a way it seems like we've been married for 50 years but in another it only seems like yesterday. We've had a lot happen in the past 7 years (some good, some bad) but I wouldn't trade it for the world. I'm one of those lucky gals that married her best friend. My husband is so wonderful, y'all.
Since he has to work Monday we decided to celebrate yesterday. He gave the the most adorable apron that I've had my eye on. I saved it under my etsy account and he must have looked it up. I was so shocked when I opened my gift. I didn't expect it at all. I love to collect aprons. A gal can't have too many cute aprons. When we lived back in Austin we would drive down to San Antonio for a weekend to enjoy the Riverwalk. The Riverwalk is so beautiful during Christmas and it's very romantic. But this holiday season we are in an entirely new city and my hubby's work schedule has been a little crazy this year. We decided to keep it simple and take a small trip in January. I can't wait to for our mini vacay. It's going to be so much fun. I'll share in another post.
Here are my top 5 reasons why I love being married to my husband.
1.) He plays guitar and makes up silly songs about me.
2.) He listens to me gab about girl stuff for hours and never complains.
3.) He's got my back no matter what.
4.) He's hilarious and can make me laugh even when I'm crying.
5.) He loves, encourages, and supports me always.
Happy Anniversary, Babe!
Happy Anniversary, Gigi! Wishing you and your sweetie many more happy years together!

Gigi, I've just posted this comment for you on my blog, but don't know if you know I reply to comments, so here it is for you:
ReplyDeleteYou're really good at guessing Danish. And you have inspired me to get started on an English version of my blog, I will work on it during the Christmas days, I'll send you the link when I'm done.
Last Christmas is just like White Christmas played so much that none of us wants to hear it any more, else everything is quite as you translated. :)
Here is a link to some Danish Christmas music I've posted today:

And here is a link to my favourite nostalgic Christmas music, I'm sure you know most of the songs:
